 FETHIYE
A bustling market town set in a serene, island-studded bay with a turquoise sea and a mountainous backdrop, Fethiye is one of the most attractive resorts on the Mediterranean coast. With quiet bars and cafes alining the picturesque harbourfront, this naturally protected bay is a drop-by place for all yacht crews.
Fethiye is still very much Turkish in character and stays open all year round. It also hosts the largest weekly authentic market in southwest Turkey where locally grown fruit and vegetables can be purchased.

 
 CALIS

Çal beach, located 2,5 miles (4 km) from Fethiye is an informal relaxing resort with 3,7 miles (6 km) of sparkling sea and shingle coastline and a constant sea breeze. With stunning mountainous views across the bay and magificent romantic sunsets, Cal is an uncrowded yet popular place for foreigners to buy property.
 

OVACIK / HISARONU

These two beautiful villages are set high into cool pine clad mountains and offer fantastic views across the surrounding hills and green valleys. Situated 4km from Olu deniz and only a 10 minute ride away from Fethiye, this friendly resort really does have something to offer everyone. Hisaronu, being a livelier resort than Ovacik, attracts many people year after year because of the relaxing atmosphere and the welcoming hospitality provided by the locals.
 

 
 OLUDENIZ

Olu deniz, famous for its magnificent beach and turquoise seas, is the ideal place for swimming, sun bathing and relaxing as the waters here are warm and calm. The beautiful lagoon at Oludeniz, sheltered from the sea by steeply forested hills, has recently been designated a conservation area and so any new developments are strictly controlled. Enjoy a drink on one of the roof-top terraces alining the seafront or stroll amoung the colourful shops and restaurants.
 

 KAYAKOY

Kaya koy, an old deserted greek village situated 7km south of Fethiye, was abandoned when its Greek inhabitants were expelled in 1923 after the War of Independence. The locals live amoung the 100s of ruins in this small picturesque village. Some of the stone houses here are available for renovation and so make for an unusual but interesting place to live.

DALAMAN

 Dalaman is now rapidly becoming an investment area for many Europeans purchasing property for investment in Turkey. This seems due to many factors including the town being announced a main touristic area and the plans for the new marina's and golf courses that are now underway. Dalaman town itself has many shops, restaurants and bars and is growing quickly due to investment in the area. Dalaman is an area of natural beauty and is located between the sea and the mountains. Dalaman also has its own huge natural beach and is ideally situated for lots of resort area's but perfect if you prefer a quieter place to base yourself.
